01/02/02 01:03 PM: The Twilight Zone
My New Years was rather dull. None of my friends saw fit to invite me along on any of their escapades, so I spent the night watching television, which is what I’ve always done, as far as I recall. Forty-four hours of The Twilight Zone. Well, of course, I didn’t watch all of it. Apparently my friend Emily’s dad did, though. She says he stayed up the whole time and taped them all. Eight tapes. That is one cool dad.
This computer had the sircam virus on it when I got it, which I was not aware of, so I had to get a copy of McAfee VirusScan. I guess it’s a good thing to have anyway. My apologies to any random people that I may have infected.
I wanted to make a Top Ten Something of 2001 list, but I don’t know what to make it of. I haven’t seen ten movies. A lot of the cds I thought came out in 2001 came out in 2000. Well, how about a top five cds of 2001:
1. Dimmu Borgir – Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia
2. Emperor – Prometheus: The Discipline of Fire & Demise
3. Nightwish – Wishmaster
4. Unearth – Stings of Conscience
5. Alkaline Trio – From Here to Infirmary
And for the record, Enya rocks. “Only Time” is a great song, but it was released in 2000.
