04/06/01 09:33 PM: There is this really funky

There is this really funky fog hanging around here. It’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen, weather-wise, at least. I feel like I’m in nineteenth century London or something. It’s raining, but it’s not. Water is coming down, but it’s more like mist by the time it gets down to the ground. It’s like water coming out of a spray bottle. And it almost looks like it’s raining up instead of down from this angle, with this wind, blowing against the side of the building. Very peculiar goings-on. You know what’s really weird, though? Ball lightning. I’ve never seen it, but I think that would freak the living daylights out of me if I did. It’s just one of those things that you say without ever really thinking about it, but what exactly are “living daylights” anyway? Really, though. Imagine a bright orange glowing ball of energy just drifting into your room through the open window. Would that not be a startling sight? Well, I’m going to sit in the corner and cower for a while. . . .
