Today was a good day. I have gotten 3 tests back out of the 4 I have taken within the past week. 96% on Theory of Law, 83% in Intermediate Econ, 78% In Business Law with a 3% added on plus a possible argueable question worth 4%. I’m not so sure on the Accounting test from monday just because I got so burned out by the end of the test, but I started off strong. I’m shooting for a 4.0 this semester after the last semester’s deplorable performance. This is a start.
Last weekend was pretty nice. When I first met my girlfriend, she said that she could beat me in making a pizza, and it became this huge challenge called the pizza bakeoff. We finally got all our stuff together and had it friday night. She put in a fucking DiGiorno, as opposed to my Mama and Me style work of art. There was no contest. Saturday, we went on a double date to a steak house with her cousin and another guy. I hadn’t had a good steak in a while, so I thought that at a steakhouse next to the old stockyards, they’d have a halfway decent steak. It wasn’t that great. I tried to get her a DVD that she had been talking about, but it turns out that Teen Witch was never made into a DVD, so that task would have been impossible. So instead I got her the boxed set of Wayne’s World, because it is what we always watch when we are drunk. She already had the first one, so my roommate talked me into opening it up and taking it out and just giving her the second one. I felt bad about this and got her a book too. Turns out she got me the same boxed set. If anyone wants a copy of the first Wayne’s World, just give me a ring.
And now, Songs to Rock out to:
“I Believe In A Thing Called Love” -The Darkness
Cold Hard Bitch – Jet
In light of a new remix by 311 of the song LoveSong, I am urging everyone to listen to the original by The Cure, because the new one is crap. I know that 311 is an Omaha band, and as much as a like to support local guys, this version is total crap. You be the judge.
Rock on

Jessica
Jet is always amazing.
Speaking of the 311 remake, Wayne Wonder’s Hold Me Now (also on the 50 First Dates CD) is great. Mraz’s Melt With You is also a decent listen, but then again the original is so much fun and I just love Mraz.
