Weblog
10/20/03 10:48 AM: Traffic, wow.
So, I really don’t know what to say. Over 200,000 people have come to see the infamous wanted poster, and the weblog has been mentioned in USA Today, and was on AFP’s wire. This means it was picked up by many newspapers worldwide, including many in Europe and Australia.
And it all started with word of mouth, I created the poster and then told maybe a dozen people on AIM about it. And it spread. Like wildfire. Like Klez. Unbelievable.
I hope, if anything, the massive exposure the site has received will bring us a larger readership. The visits/day have now leveled off around 2,600. Before the publicity, the average was around 200. I expect it to continue to decrease back towards the norm, but even if it increases only by 50 or so, that would still be great.
Unrelated, I have one more midterm this week. It’s a take-home, so it’s not quite as stressful. Then I’ll get on the photolog again, and get it updated. This weekend was Parent’s Weekend at Georgetown, and my folks flew in. As such, I didn’t have much time for photography. I hope later this week to get that all in order and up-to-date.
I think I’m going to add all of my articles that I’ve written for The Georgetown Voice to the writing page, that will be my next project. That page hasn’t been updated in a very long time.
But now, I must go. Have a great day!

Maybe you should update the WANTED poster with the guy’s real name now that we know it.
I think its funny. Nobody made such a big deal with the one you made in high school.
