Tonight was my school’s Turnabout dance. It is the yearly dance where the girls are supposed to ask the guys, and all of that. Well, since I am updating my webpage, it is probabally pretty obvious that I didn’t attend said dance. There are a few reasons why I didn’t, besides the whole not being asked. First of all, I really don’t enjoy dances. I don’t really even understand why they exist anymore. To me, at least, the whole thing seems kind of dumb. Of course, one may say I am only complaining because I am bitter, which might also be true. Basically, what I am getting at is, I would most likely enjoy spending time somewhere that isn’t a school sponsored dance. Also, unlike some people I know, I wouldn’t just want to go somewhere for the sake of going there. As I have said before, and again, I’m not going to judge myself based on the fact that someone else went to a dance and I didn’t.
