09/08/02 06:03 PM: Updating on a Sunday Night

Man, weekends are the greatest. Friday night we partied like no other. Saturday, we had a poor man’s party, and this one girl and I went exploring downtown Omaha. I was actually surprised as to how we didn’t need a car to get to the Old Market. We talked for almost 2 hours on our journey. It was a very fun night. This morning I was asked what we “did” last night. It pisses me off that I can’t go out with a girl without people thinking that we messed around. I thought that the maturity in college would be a little higher than that. She is a very attractive girl, but there is nothing going on between us. Other people that couldn’t be mature enough to be smart about alcohol had to be taken to the hospital. It was a scary night in those respects, but they will be fine.

On a lighter note, the Bears won. There are a lot of people from Minnesota here, and I was trash talking all of them. I was actually watching the game with Vikings fans. I got a little scared during half time, but I knew that Da Bears would win in the end. I promptly played the Super Bowl Shuffle after the final horn went off. It made my whole day.

Now I get to write a paper for American Government. I was going to write about Madison vs. Marbury, but to my dismay, dave has already written a paper on that important decision. Curses, foiled again. Guess I’ll have to find another topic. I guess I should do that now while the night is still young so I can go out later. Until next time.
