I posted something a while back about the big pharmaceutical companies and their lawsuit that sought to ensure that AIDS treatments would remain out of those that need them most, South Africans. The 39 companies have unconditionally dropped the case. They will also apparently reimburse the South African government for legal expenses. See this BBC article for details. Now if they would only start making AIDS drugs without animal ingredients. . . .
