“We will withdraw from the ABM treaty on our timetable at a time convenient to America.” I’ll give you one guess as to who I am quoting. In other words, it is convenient to The U.S. for the treaty to exist for a little while longer, so Russia is not allowed to bomb us until the Chevron-Texaco-Exxon-Mobil missile defense shield stadium and long distance provider is ready to go. Then we are free to launch missiles at whomever we please. I think everyone else is still not allowed to fire them at us, though. Aren’t double standards wonderful?
