03/01/02 11:15 PM: Weekend

Well, so begins one more three day weekend, thanks to our wonderful Polish war hero, Casimir Pulaski. He is celebrated as an official day off here, because Chicago (and the surrounding areas) has the highest percentage of Polish people outside of Warsaw. I don’t really know any Polish people though, at least as far as I know. Well, correction, I did know a Polish person. Ariel from Indymedia is Polish, but I haven’t seen or talked to her for many months, as I disassociated myself with Indymedia. On one hand, sometimes I miss the whole save the world attitude that was present there, and the can-do spirit; but on the other, I strongly disagree with some of the things they try to promote, so it left me in a political quandry. Oh well.

March is underway. What will this fair month bring? Who knows, it should be interesting. This means I only have March, April, and May left of school. That’s three months. At times that seems like an eternity, at other times it seems like way too little.

Monday I have an interview for Yale University at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Trips to the city are always interesting.

It seems to be getting late, so I will have to leave you now. One last note, check out crash.neotope.com, it’s been redesigned. If I had a links page, that would be on it. Along with other certain sites that I read on a semi-occasional basis. Good night.

UPDATE (03/02/02 @ 1:39 PM): Of course I forgot to mention Kevin, who is Polish as well. I was mainly going for people I knew around here. Anyway, too bad New York doesn’t celebrate Our Favorite Polish War Hero Day™.
