So I saw Weezer last night. Ozma opened up. They sound a lot like Weezer. Coincidence? Anyway, they were good. Saves the Day. Man, I have seen them too many times. They only played two songs that weren’t from their latest cd. It’s not like the first two were crappy demos that they should be ashamed of. Actually, they didn’t play anything from Can’t Slow Down at all. Much beloved by teenage girls, the singer made a funny. I’m sure the exact wording isn’t right, but it was something like this. “How’s everyone doing tonight?” (hooting, hollering, applause, etc) “How are your parents doing?” Naturally, Weezer rocked the house. They had lots of pretty lights and smoke. Speaking of smoke, was I the only person there not smoking pot? Breathable air was at a premium in that place.
I just ordered my ticket for the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. Will you be there?
