07/31/02 08:37 PM: West Wing and More

Tonight’s rerun of The West Wing was “Two Cathedrals,” possibly the best episode in that series to date. I have to say that show is really the only thing worth watching on television anymore. I am very sick of watching the same Simpsons reruns over and over, and the Seinfeld reruns are getting old too.

Watching the stock market has become another past time of mine lately. It has been an interesting past week or so, and its almost like watching a sporting event when you watch the DJIA now days. CNBC’s Closing Bell all the way for your 2PM-3PM (CST) viewing!

So I am sure you have heard about the bombing at Hebrew University,

JERUSALEM (CNN)—An explosion Wednesday at Jerusalem’s Hebrew University killed at least seven people, including three Americans, hospital officials and U.S. officials said.

Hamas said the bomb was in retaliation for last week’s Israeli attack in Gaza that killed the commander of Hamas’ military wing and 14 others, including nine children.

Funny how you also see in that article:

The blast went off just before 2 p.m. when the cafeteria was packed with lunchtime diners. Broken tiles hung from the ceiling, and bits of lunches, broken glasses and twisted utensils were scattered on the floor.

The cafeteria was said to be a favorite spot for both Jews and Arabs. More than 5,000 Arab students attend the university.

I think that says something about the bloodthirsty Arab terrorists, that they would target a place where even their “own people” may be. However I also think shows that it is possible that one day Jews and Arabs might get along (The fact that they can study together at the same place). But, maybe it’s only the more intelligent ones who are attending a university that can figure out how to live and work along with the “Infidels,” who knows.
