Windows XP Release Candidate 2 (RC2) became available for download today. Yes, I am indeed a sucker and paid $9.95 to download RC2. I wonder if I can get $9.95 deducted from the retail price when it comes out… I doubt it also. I am hoping that XP is a step above Windows 2000. I have heard from a friend of mine that XP is the “best OS ever.”
So basically, I will be spending a good portion of tonight downloading, and then burning XP RC2. I am assuming it will take several hours to download, due mainly to server congestion, and my slow internet provider.
What else is new you ask? Well I am on page 70 of a certain book. I hope I can finish before schooling resumes next Wednesday.
I’ll keep everyone posted on how Windows XP is.
