Wow. Searching through the depths of my memory, I cannot recall ever seeing/hearing Dave use the word “fuck.” While I sympathize and agree that the sequence of events was a big ripoff, I can’t say that I’m the least bit surprised. Most likely, the promoter had nothing to do with the concession prices, but it’s still ridiculous. But those guys aren’t dumb. People will pay five dollars for a bottle of water if that’s the only (or cheapest) option. I’m still proud of my economizing skills at the Warped Tour, where I picked up empty bottles off the ground and filled them with water.
