01/20/01 10:29 AM: Yesterday I saw the movie
Yesterday I saw the movie Thirteen Days, which was about the Cuban Missle Crisis. Kevin Costner starred as one of President Kennedy’s closest advisors, Kenny O’Donnell. This film provides the public with a glimpse into how close we came to another world war in 1962. Although Costner doesn’t do the best with his accent, if you ignore that the movie is very good. I would recommend it to anyone interested in history, or anyone looking for a good film with suspense. Even though we know the outcome, there are still points were I was on the edge of my seat. If I were rating it, I would give it four stars. Go see it if you have the chance.
I will have a posting regarding the Presidental Inauguration soon..
