08/12/01 12:13 AM: Books I never read

You know what I need to do, stop buying books that I never end up reading. Oh well, today I bought yet another book. I intend though on reading this. I purchased Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintence by Robert M. Pirsig. I have heard much acclaim for said book, by a selected few friends of mine, and also one Nick Disabato. No, I do not buy every book that he recommends. Let me just shove these Ayn Rand books over to the side…

I also bought the classic movie Hackers on DVD. For the low price of $11.99 at the local Suncoast Videos. I watched it tonight also, yes, this is what I do on Saturday nights, watch Hackers. I forgot, that was actually a pretty good movie. Of course you have to remember that anything they show regarding computers is totally made up. I love the server room or whatever that looks like a room full of lit up skyscrapers. Oh, and of course sparks start flying from computers when “the kernel gets overloaded.” Technical problems aside, it is a fun movie—as I am sure you all know.

Have you told a friend about whichwayup.org yet? If you haven’t, you are a thief and a moocher. YES THIS IS LIKE PBS. WE DON’T ASK FOR MONEY, JUST FOR PUBLICITY. Sorry, I got a little carried away in my critique of the PBS Fund Drives.

Can I not watch Mr. Bean in peace?
